Treatment options vary from patient to patient, and every case is unique. From pediatric to geriatric and from mild to severe, therapy improves communication through exercises and training. Every patient‘s treatment is specialized following the initial evaluation. An individual course of action is developed and the patient is encouraged to practice the exercises in order to improve communication. Caregivers are also encouraged to practice the exercises with the patient after the treatment to improve results. A full plan of care is essential to developing effective speech and communication.
